Rhythm of Faith

If God ever revealed how important you truly are, the weight of that truth would overwhelm you. Many of us live far below the identity heaven has spoken over us. We see our flaws, our fears, and our failures. God sees purpose, strength, and calling. The truth is that most people do not believe they matter as much as they actually do. If God sat you down and unfolded the full picture of who you are in His eyes, the revelation would come as a shock. It would be greater than anything you have ever imagined because His perspective is not limited by what you see in the mirror. Consider Gideon in Judges 6. He was hiding from his enemies, convinced he was the weakest in his family and the least among his people. Yet God approached him with a completely different identity and called him a mighty man of valor.   A question I ask myself sometimes is "What things am I missing out on without knowing?". Something in me is calling out for much more.  When God created Eden, it was a lush garden paradise, a land of delight, there were all kinds of beautiful trees, so much gold, pearls, onyx, and lots more. It was so beautiful far beyond what we could imagine. God then placed Adam in this paradise and said "My good friend, I am handing this paradise over to you to manage, you can enjoy and manage as you see fit but do not eat from the tree of good and evil".  And just like that, little old Adam was in charge of the most beautiful paradise. Now I notice Adam did not ask for this paradise. God just felt he needed this kind of paradise. God is like "This kind of paradise is the best for my little Adam". lol😅 Adam did not ask for Eve too.
