When Ordinary Things become Worship!

When Ordinary Things become Worship! We all have routines! Waking up, preparing the kids for school, school run, work, house chores, cooking, running errands for our boss, reading, watching tv,gardening e.t.c. We all have activities that consume our days. Some activities are routine, some are occasional and are all ordinary. These ordinary everyday activities pile up into weeks, months and years of ordinary activities which eventually makes up an ordinary lifetime. These ordinary activities are what our lives are made off as ordinary as they are. These ordinary activities are what we are going to held accountable for in the presence of God! God says we should put Him first in all things. " So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything to the glory of God." 1 Col: 10:31.  These ordinary activities make up the "everything" God is asking us to Glorify Him with. Imagine putting God first while doing ordinary house chores, while working in the office, in...

Find Your Crusade!

Find Your Crusade!  At this very moment, there are people in hospital who are in pain; some families do not know where their next meal is coming from; some people are grieving because a loved one just died, some are in emotional pain because their relationships are disintegrating, and there are people with overwhelming health challenges. People are in dire situations and they want a way out. Millions are looking for fulfilment but they do not know how to get it. In trying to find satisfaction, they try to get more money, acquire many material possessions, some eat and drink excessively, while others acquire more sexual partners. Unfortunately, these acts do not give lasting satisfaction. Jesus met a woman at the well in Samaria and struck up a conversation with her. When He told her about the Living Water, she was very interested. However, Jesus was trying to draw her attention to the very core of her life. He showed her that this earthly life only gives temporary satisfaction; non...

Jesus in Your Boat!

Jesus in Your Boat If I am with Jesus, there shouldn't be a storm.Christianity is not a playground but a battle ground. It is Warfare! Smooth life is a distortion of the gospel. We will face problems and pain but it will never sink you because Jesus is in your boat. Don't ever let the presence of a storm make you doubt the presence of God.  The storm will rock u but it will not sink you. You are in d storm with His presence and for his purposes. It was Jesus's idea for disciples  to get to the other side. So Jesus knew there would be a storm. They were not in the storm because they were out of Gods will but because they were in Gods will. James1:2-4 In psalm 23: David understands that the presence of God is always with him " though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil for thou are with me, thy rod and thy staff. Thou comfort me..." You are in middle of a test, why does a good teacher test you? So u can move to a new level.Sometimes...

He Still Loves You

HE STILL LOVES YOU. Have you ever been in such a terrible situation as Job was?  Have you known loss, disappointments, defeat, shame, poverty, sicknesses, e.t.c?  How did you handle it or how are you handling it?  We all know about the story of Job in the bible, so are we asking like job did, "Why me Lord"? or "God where are you? " Have you been compelled to doubt God's existence because of your experiences/situations?  This message is for you,  Just like I've read in Job, and other similar stories in the bible, God is with you in all of this, He hasn't gone deaf neither is He asleep, He hasn't forsaken you, and He never will. Yes God is still in control and above all God still loves you.  Be encouraged!  Written by: Mis Lin.

I Choose Not To Grieve God! Do You?

I Choose Not To Grieve God! Do You? I am a Mother. I went through the stress of pregnancy, the pains of labor, the sleep deprivations, the constant sacrifice, doing my very best to give my children the best, working hard to make all things better for them in every way. A lot of us can relate to these feelings, either as a child or a parent. You remember how your parents loved you unconditionally, how they deprived themselves, how they cry when we cry and hurt when we make mistakes that affect us. They love us whole heartedly and unconditionally. Then this child grows and wants independence. The child you sacrificed everything for is ashamed to call you father or Mother. Your child that you love so much no longer loves you back. This child even goes as far as insulting you, rejecting you, and basically hating everything that you are and that you stand for. The child spits on you and chooses to dine with and glorify your enemy. You have to be inhuman as a parent to not be heartbroken. Ha...

I Am Blind Like That

I Am Blind Like That I believe in God. He is my sovereign, the Almighty, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, my God. I follow the edicts and commandments of God to the best of my ability. If God says this is ugly, then to me it is ugly, if He says this is good then I agree that it's good, if God says this is beautiful, then I say it is beautiful, if God says this is dirty no matter how clean it is to me, I say it is dirty too. If God says it is then it is. No more, No less. If God says its 30%  dark, even if my brain says it's 40% and I can see a lot of light ,I still say No it's 30%. I have no higher thoughts than God. No matter how smart I think I am,how logical or how creative, I bow to the one who knows it all.  Yes I may not know all about God but I know He is a good God and He loves me so that's enough for me. Besides if I knew everything about God then what makes Him God? I don't need to ask or to question God because how smart are humans anyway? We are...

Grand Entrance Into Heaven

HOW TO GET A GRAND ENTRANCE INTO HEAVEN. 2Peter 1:3-11. The bible says that God has given us everything we need for a godly life. He has given us great and precious promises, these promises enable us to share His divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires. It admonishes us to make every effort to respond to these promises of God.  How?: -Have faith in Christ,  -Supplement your faith with a generous amount of moral knowledge,  - Knowledge with self-control - Self-control with patient-endurance - Patient-endurance with godliness,  - Godliness with brotherly affection,  - Brotherly affection with love for everyone.   The more you grow like this, the more productive and useful you will be in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. The bible warns that, if you fail to develop in this way, you will be short-sighted and blind (spiritually), you will forget that you have been cleansed from your old sins (you will be tormented with guilt...
