I AM MYSTERIOUS!

I AM MYSTERIOUS!

I am mysterious! I am a Terrorist! I eat flesh and drink blood! I am an Overcomer!

Everything about the Kingdom of God is mysterious. Our Angels who are assigned to minister to us cannot be seen but they are there. We feed on the flesh and blood of our Master Jesus when we take communion. We as Christians are drinkers of the blood and eaters of the precious blood and body of Christ. We eat spiritual food that is greater than any spiritual food even that of witches and wizards.

1 Tim3:16: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Satan has told us lies to make us afraid. He tries to get us to believe he is a mystery that he knows everything about us. That is not true!.   We are the mysterious beings. The bible says in 1 Corinthians 2:16
"Who can know the LORD's thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?" But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ".
The devil cannot know our mind or thoughts because we have the mind of Christ. The devil does not know what we are capable of.

Remember that the bible says in 1 Cor 2:8  "which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn't have crucified the Lord of glory"

If Satan had known what he was doing when he crucified the Lord of glory, he would have never done it. He thought the crucifixion was his greatest victory, but it was actually his ultimate defeat.

God says in Isaiah 43:1

1Now, this is what the LORD says: Do not be afraid, because I have reclaimed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.
2When you go through the sea, I am with you. When you go through rivers, they will not sweep you away. When you walk through fire, you will not be burned, and the flames will not harm you.
3I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Egypt is the ransom I exchanged for you. Sudan and Seba are the price I paid for you.
4Since you are precious to me, you are honored and I love you. I will exchange others for you. Nations will be the price I pay for your life.

Now if God has claimed you as His!  He paid the price for us. So Who should terrorize who? WE ARE MYSTERIOUS BEINGS IN CHRIST!

Write Your Challenge a Sympathy Letter!

Write Your Challenge a Sympathy Letter!

Imagine if Nigeria were to go into battle with Russia or China. We do not need a soothsayer to tell us that  Nigeria will be defeated. Nigeria lacks the military might that Russia and China have. I do not believe that Nigeria can lay claim to even a single nuclear warhead. To fight Boko Haram ( a Nigerian rebel force), we need international assistance. This tells us that in a war situation, Nigeria will not stand the hope of a chance.

Then imagine that as weak as Nigeria is, Japan, Germany or the United States comes out and declares that they are solidly behind Nigeria. All of a sudden,Nigeria's victory is almost assured because we are now being backed by Nation with greater military might. Our hope of victory changes, we even begin to brag because we have great confidence in the nation backing us. Russia then begins to fear that they might be defeated and might begin to regret. The whole situation changes.

Then imagine further that Nigeria is at war with the United States. In fact in this situation,we would focus on choosing a great tombstone, our defeat so sure.

Then imagine that God then stands behind Nigeria against the United States. The same God who created heaven and earth. We would write United States a sympathy letter. We will tell them sorry because as Christians we know that according to Hebrews10:13
"It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

As Christians, Let us remind ourselves about who is behind us, about who goes before us, about our God who parted the Red Sea!

Now let's get back to the challenge and battle you are facing! Write that challenge a sympathy letter!
God is begin you! The battle is not yours but the Lords.

Sinking Sand or Solid Rock

There were once two men, and each needed to build a house.
The first man was foolish, and chose to build on sandy soil where it was easy to access and easy to dig the foundations. In a few short weeks he was almost finished.
The second man was wise, and chose to build his house on a rocky hill, where it was very hard to access and to dig the foundation. He spent many months building his house.
As time passed a huge storm broke upon the houses of these men. After much rain, a flood swept through the valley and the man's house that was built on the sand was swept away. But the second man who had built on the rocky hill was safe. No matter how hard it rained or how fierce the floods were his house remained solid and immovable.
Let's ask ourselves the question. What's the foundation of our life? Are we like the foolish man, are our lives built on sand?
The story above is from the Matthew 7:24-27 where the Bible says:
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Jesus said that whoever heard his words and obeyed Him, would be like a wise man who built on a rock. And that house could never be torn down!!! It could never be moved!
But if we only hear the wonderful words of Jesus and yet still go our own way and don't do what He says, then we are like a foolish person, who builds his house on the sand! Just think about that, who would want to build a house on a sand-dune? It sounds very foolish doesn't it?
Perhaps the foolish man thought he was safe? His house was standing to start with and it was cosy and warm inside, everything was going just fine. But when the floods came he had no hope! His house fell flat, and great was the fall of it.
What about our lives? When Satan brings temptations and trials to us it may feel like we are being battered by a flood! The Bible refers to the enemy coming in like a flood:
Isaiah 59:19...when the enemy shall come in like a flood...
And perhaps you've found yourself standing on sand before. And when the flood of temptation or trial comes, you fall flat like that foolish man. But! Don't be discouraged, lets choose to be like the wise man. Who listens to what Jesus tells us in the Bible and does what he says!
And when we listen and obey Jesus what rock are we building our lives on?
Psalms 18:2 The LORD [is] my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust

1. Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Jesus is our Rock! He is the firm foundation that we can build our lives upon. And if we obey Jesus, and everything He tells us in his word, the Bible, we have the assurance that no matter what flood beats upon us, no matter how fierce the storms of this life may get we will never fall, we will never be moved.
God wants us to build securely upon the eternal Rock, the word of God. We have been only hearers long enough. Let us now put the important lessons of Christ into practise. He who is a hearer and not a doer of the word, Christ compares to the man who built his house upon the sand. It needs only the storm of temptation to break upon such, and the foundation they supposed so secure is swept away. How great is the loss to these souls! They might have had eternal life--a life that measures with the life of God--had they built upon the firm foundation.

How Can We Be Truly Content

Why is it that many people in this world today, live their entire lives searching for something..... yet never finding it? What is it that they are searching for?
It is Contentment. Many people live their entire lives trying to find contentment, yet they have a miserable existence. Why is this so?
Lets see what the Bible says.......
1 Timothy 6:4-5
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
Here the Bible is describing ungodly people, who are proud etc... but notice in verse 5:
1 Timothy 6:5
"supposing that gain is godliness"
So who is the God in the lives of these people? ........Gain has become their God, they are supposing that gain is Godliness. They are living their lives striving for gain and worldy riches and this becomes as a god in their lives.
Lets read the next verse:
1 Timothy 6:6
But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Where is the true contentment and great gain? It is not in riches of this earth, but the true Godliness which is in Jesus (verse three) So Whilst striving for contentment and gain these ungodly people have missed the true gain! they have missed the great gain and contentment which is in Christ Jesus. They have worked, worked, worked all their lives striving to find contentment in the riches of this world.
1 Timothy 6:7
For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
We were birthed into this world with nothing, and when we die, and go to heaven at Christ's second coming none of our worldly goods will come with us! Tragically, this is why those who strive for riches in this earth canot be happy in heaven, because their expensive car, their luxurious house etc, won't be there..........
1 Timothy 6:8
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
Let us then be content with the food and clothing that Jesus supplies to us.
1 Timothy 6:9-10
But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Truly those that strive for riches and worldly gain in this earth end up "piercing themselves through with many sorrows" somtimes by a family breakup, or poor health, in the end these people live a miserable life , and it is all because of their love of money. Truly there is no goodness or content in the ways of this world.
So is it worth striving in this world for riches? Isn't the way of Jesus much better?
1 Timothy 6:11-12
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
This is what Jesus wants for us, he longs to give all good things to us, and he wants to show to us that the ways of this world are not His ways. Do you want to fight the good fight of faith today? Then don't set your affections on things of this world but lay hold on eternal life in Jesus!
1 Timothy 6:14-15
That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
What an amazing description of Jesus! The one who has all power and imortal life! The king above all kings and the Lord above all lords!
How can we have the assurance, the certainty of contentment in this life?
Hebrews 13:5-6
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
If Jesus has promised that he will always be with us, if the all powerful one, the King above all kings and the Lord above all lords will never forsake us, will there ever be a time in your life when you are not content? When Jesus is with us. then we can boldy say, that we will not fear what any man can do to us, becasue we have the assurance of Jesus with us, who is much more powerful than any earthly human!
So contentment only comes through Jesus. Not through striving in this world for riches.
If you want true contentment, just ask Jesus to come into your heart, and as long as you don't forsake Him, He has promised never to forsake you.
The Bible says
Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
If you ask Jesus to come into your heart, if you seek for him, and do what he asks (knock) He has promised that you will always be content.
What amazing love Jesus has towards us!!
