Hurtful Words

Our instinct when someone hurts us with their words is to hurt back. That's our first instinct, to lash out and hurt back.

People especially loved ones are often careless with their words and it can be very hurtful. Worse even when they feel no remorse for hurting you.

Jesus died on the cross for us, he loves us so much that He was willing to sacrifice himself for us so that our relationship with God would be restored.
Let us find solace in Jesus because no greater love has ever been shown.

The people around us are not perfect, much less our loved ones and sometimes that imperfection shows. It is only God who is perfect and only Him can perfect us. We should truly learn to not expect perfection from them and instead trust God to guide and teach them.

In times of hurt, we need to ask God to heal us and fill us with so much love that it no longer matters. God knows us,knows how we hurt, knows how we feel and how sometimes we are barely holding it together. Lets learn to depend on Him for comfort and assurance. When you hurt, Think how much God loves you and how He cares for those He loves.

Jeremiah 29:11 "1 I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.[t] 12 Then you will call to me. You will come and pray to me, and I will answer you. 13 You will seek me, and you will find me because you will  seek me with all your heart. "

John 3:16 " For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not die but have eternal life"
