Knowing Deceit: In Relationships, Business and Everything

The Bible amazes me, God amazes me! The key to so much can be found in just a verse in the bible. The word of God says by their fruit you shall know them.

A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him. Matt 12:35

So many people claim to be what they are not, even what they are very very far from being.

So many of us wonder if our friends are good, honest, God fearing people as they claim to be? We wonder if our Priests.Pastors, Spiritual leaders are as God fearing as they seem on the altar? If our fiancé will make a good husband? If perhaps the person we work with is honest?

Everyone can carry a bible but very few actually read it and even fewer understand what they read. Deceit is everywhere,in the house of God, in relationships, in business, everywhere!

How do we find and sieve the real from the fake? The illusion from the reality of a person? How do we see what deceit and hidden motives? BY THEIR FRUIT!

A diseased tree can never produce a healthy fruit. Sometimes a fruit may even look great from the outside and then you open it and you see that it is diseased in some way. This happens to me all the time especially with garden egg. Sometimes you can see evidence of a diseased fruit just by looking at it. Other times you buy believing it to be healthy only to open it and see the contrary.

Don't be deceived by talk, and all kinds of external appearances but wait and study the fruits of these people around you and you will see, recognize and understand their fruits.

If you see your fiancé disrespecting his mother in any way, how will he respect you when you are married. If he is nasty to people he considers lower class (waiters,helps e.t.c), those are fruits you should not ignore.

As is the tree, so is its fruit; if the tree is good, it will bring forth good fruit. The tree that brings forth good fruit, is good antecedent to the fruit it produces; it is first good, and then puts forth good fruit: it is not the fruit that makes the tree good, but makes it appear to be so; but it is the goodness of the tree that makes the fruit good. As a good man does, and will do good works, but his works do not make him a good man; he is so before he performs good works, or he would never be able to do them; " Gills exposition"
