There are formulas, programs, advice and techniques for getting what you want from God.This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need.
As loving Parents, we all want the best for our children. Their wants and desires are not always the best for them. I for one as a parent would like my kids to approach me with their desires and wants in the most simple way without a lot of drama. I would rather they come as they are not with escorts to ask on their behalf but as they are even if they are incoherent. No matter how incoherent my child is, he/she is my child, I will understand the incoherence.
God loves us so much that He gave us His only Son without our asking so why do we find it difficult to approach the One who loves so much more than our parents ever could. God says in Matt 7:10-11"If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?" Romans 8:32
Some people feel their voice is not good enough or strong enough for God to hear but God loves you just as you are! For God so loved (not just love "so loved") the world (we sinful,unworthy people) that He sent His only Son (the best that heaven has to offer) that whosoever (thief,prostitute,ugly,stammerer,ex-convict,my father was a missionary,my mother is a senator,my father was in the occult,my mother hates me,disowned child,mad men,serial killer,Boko haram,Isis) believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life! john 3:16
God says whosoever! Let us come bodly to the throne of grace that we may obtain grace for help in the time of need.
